The masters Michael Bertiaux and David Beth teach that the work of
Esoteric Voudon in its more advanced form is always of a very individualistic, creative and
spiritistic nature, based on initiation and empowerment. These requirements can never be properly
met in an organization with order-like or masonic structures. On the contrary, work of such nature
must be conducted in individual power zones, temples and lairs of creative sorcerers connected to
each other in an esoteric spider web of initiation and transmission as has now been established in
the SVG. Our magical work is based in large parts on the esoteric foundations of Esoteric Voudon
as transmitted into modern times mainly through the groundbreaking opus of Michael Bertiaux. In
addition to this our Gnosis is infused with esoteric empowerments and direct transmissions of
systems of African Sorcery such as the Nganga work (Fetich Sorcery) and unique approaches to the
world of spirits and the Dead.
Our Society, which in fact is a magical machine, has as little hierarchy as possible but as much
as is necessary to allow for a perfect flow of magical and gnostic energies.
Apart from initiation into 4 degrees there are various empowerments, astral and physical, which can
be given as well as courses of initiation for those interested in pursuing the gnosis and modus
operandi of the Fetich Masters, Red and Black Twins and other areas of sorcery exclusively embedded
in our SVG.
The mode of work within our society rests on two important foundations:
1. individual practical and experimental work and research with materials and spirits
2. esoteric empowerments and initiations as the foundation of gnostic voudon
Our group is very selective and semi-closed which means that membership is by invitation only or
through a rigorous probationary period after which probationers need to display a basic
understanding of the principles of Voudon Gnosis. We are not a society interested in educating
Neophytes but define ourselves as a vehicle for the further magical education, exchange, research
and empowerment of advanced students and masters of the Magical Art. Thus we apply the rule of
quality above all else. Our group structure is that of an upside down pyramid – many ‘masters’
and few students in order to ensure the quality and empowerment of our work. |
